The rescue is non-destruct, so if it is not deemed appropriate for a dog to be rehomed beyond the rescue, they will become a sanctuary dog. There are a multitude of reasons why this might happen, for example, a severe bite history, and behavioural or medical conditions that require more specialised care.
At present, the rescue has a multitude of sanctuary dogs of various ages, breeds, and sizes, but this number continues to increase with the ever-present demand for the rescue’s expertise.
The next draw is a Boosted £2k draw on 28 July! Every nomination gives Pupcakes Rescue & Rehab another chance to be selected.
If you haven’t nominated us yet this year, it only takes a moment:
Just type Pupcakes Rescue & Rehab in the charity name box, click Search, then check the Exempt box. Thank you!
