The rescue is non-destruct, so if it is not deemed appropriate for a dog to be rehomed beyond the rescue, they will become a sanctuary dog. There are a multitude of reasons why this might happen, for example, a severe bite history, and behavioural or medical conditions that require more specialised care.
At present, the rescue has a multitude of sanctuary dogs of various ages, breeds, and sizes, but this number continues to increase with the ever-present demand for the rescue’s expertise.
Nominate us before 23 February for the Animals & Wildlife grant and help us continue our life-changing work for dogs in need. It only takes a minute, costs nothing, and could make a huge difference! Every nomination will automatically be entered into all remaining 2025 monthly draws.
Every nomination counts! 🐾💙
